Brida by Paulo Coelho
Soulmates. This is the first thing I think about when it comes to describing this book. Coelho's novel touches immensely on many subjects relevant to human nature. He also includes witchcraft, spiritually and magic. Brida, an Irish young woman who is on a quest for knowledge and fulfillment, seeks two teachers along the way Magnus who teaches her the tradition of the sun and Wicca who teaches Brida the rituals and knowledge of the tradition of the moon. This is when she realizes she's a Witch. As Brida seeks her destiny, she struggles to find the balance between her relationships and her desire to become a Witch.

The Last Letter from Your Lover by Jojo Moyes
I have a weakness for romance stories so for those of you who have read this particular one then you know exactly just how emotional this one was. Not to give too much away for those who have yet to read, this read is told from events that happened in 1960, leading into 2003. Jennifer Sterling wakes up in Hospital, not remembering when or how she got there. Her tragic car accident has left her without her memories, without memory of her Husband. Years later in 2003, journalist Ellie discovers letters that lead to Jennifer and her past. Ellie becomes obsessed and determined to find out the whole story. Her search will rewrite history and also help her see the truth about her modern romance.

A Country Escape by Katie Fforde
2019 perfect summer read. Based in Cotswold, UK Katie has written such a lovable, warm and delightful story. City Girl Fran has always wanted to be a farmer and now her childhood dream is about to come true after moving into her aunt's run-down but ever so beautiful farm. Fran knows nothing about farming but she is far from giving up, with just one month to turn things around she will need all the help she can get. Especially from her wealthy neighbor who might just have his reasons for being so supportive. Either for his interest in the farm or Fran herself. It's a story that lives you glued to each page, each chapter until the very end.

One Day in December by Josie Silver
Here's another unforgettable love story that had me glued to each page. Laurie doesn't believe love, at first, sight, exists (besides in the movies), that is until she sees through a misty bus window, snowy day in December a man who she knows instantly is the one. Their eyes meet, a moment of pure magic, then her bus drives away. Laurie then spends a year scanning every bus stop and cafe in London for him. She then gives up but only to find she has reunited with this man at a Christmas party when her best friend Sarah introduces him as her new boyfriend. Jack, the man from the bus. The story then leads on to ten years of friendship, heartbreak, many missed opportunities and destinies considered.
